Every girl needs a little black dress in her wardrobe. What? You don't have one? Well then let me introduce you to this snazzy little number from Nicce. I wish I could've taken better photos to show you the straps and the back of the dress but it's September now (practically winter) and it was far too cold up north for me to get my bare shoulders out. However, I am pleased to inform you that this dress has cross-back detailing and the straps are super thin, which IMO makes it super cool. So as the title of this post suggests, let us commence with an investigation into how this essential black bodycon dress can be styled for (almost) any occasion.

1. The big night out

So the obvious one is the night out. I've sort of channeled my inner, sassy, hoop-earring wearing alter-ego in these photos and I am loving it. And FYI the dress is super comfy so it's perfect if you're a bit of an active dancer on a night out. I know I am. I also threw on my new teddy jacket from H&M which I am completely and utterly obsessed with right now - which admittedly would be a bit of a nightmare to carry around on a night out but whatever, it's so cute!

2. At work

A little black dress for work? Say whaaa? Well who says you can't be sassy in the office too. Work dressing is easy, just throw on a blazer and any shoes that aren't trainers and voila! Sorted.

3. A casj day out

Kimono - Vintage

If you're not ~hip~ enough to know already, casj is short for casual and this look is definitely casj. I've always been a fan of pairing a nice skirt or dress with scruffy trainers. Think Hilary Duff in A Cinderella Story wearing the ball gown with converse. Nice dress + trainers = super cool, laid-back, model-on-the-Topshop-website vibes. And this kimono is a vintage gem from eBay that cost me like £2. Winner!

So there you have it, one dress, three ways. We have defied the very boundaries of fashion! And don't forget to check out the Nicce website for more gems like this dress, I promise you there's loads of nice things on there!
